Cottages, looking over the bay. We have two cottages; one sleeps 4 + 2 with
use of a sofa bed and the other sleeps 7 + 2 with use of a sofa bed.
No. 3 Coastguard cottages (sky blue in picture) - The comfortable
accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 reception, kitchen, bathroom with WC &
shower and separate WC and sleeps 7 plus 2 with use of sofa bed.
Entrance is at the rear of the property through a small lobby with adjacent
WC into a well-equipped kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine
and microwave. Through to comfortable lounge with gas coal effect fire, TV,
video and stereo. Glass door leads through to the dining room with French doors
leading to a small sunny front patio area with garden furniture.
The lounge has two sofas, one of which doubles as a pull out sofa bed to provide
sleeping for another 2 guests. The gas effect coal fire provides lots of heat,
it creates a nice cosy feel for those of you who wish to rent weeks or weekends
in the Autumn or Winter. Outside at the rear there is a small garden with 2
storage sheds, rotary hanging line and patio area. There are fitted carpets
throughout with full gas central heating; fuel and bedding are included in the
rental.
Upstairs there is sleeping for 7 people. The master bedroom overlooks Daddyhole
Plain and has outstanding 180 degree sea views. The bedroom has an oak double
bed, vanity unit and washbasin, pine wardrobe, and two bedside cabinets.
Bedroom 2 again overlooks Daddyhole Plain and has a double bed and a single
with a pine wardrobe, chest of drawers, 2nd (built in) wardrobe and bedside
cabinet. Bedroom 3 has a set of pine bunk beds, bedside cabinet, and chest of
drawers. This room is ideal for any children in your holiday cottage.
The bathroom comprises of three piece white bathroom suite. There is a power
shower over the bath for your convenience.
No 4 Coastguard Cottages (salmon pink in picture) – We
recently refurbished this property with no expense spared with a new large farmhouse
style kitchen-breakfast room complete with a belfast sink, granite worktops,
and ruby red aga gas cooker. There is a new contemporary bathroom with state
of the art double basin sink, double person power shower and a very deep bath.
There is a large lounge with feature fire place and French doors onto the patio
and Daddyhole Plain.
This is a two bedroom period cottage with a twin bedroom overlooking the town
and a very large double bedroom overlooking Daddyhole Plain and the bay. With
the use of the sofa bed in the lounge it sleeps 6 people.
There is parking at the front of each cottage for one car and additional space
in the car park 100 yds. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars in
Torquay and Wellswood (approx 1⁄2 mile).).
